Grace Moss

Grace Moss headshotGrace Moss is the Director of Talent Development & Inclusion for NBC Entertainment. In this role, she oversees multiple programs that focus on discovering, cultivating and showcasing talented writers and directors of diverse backgrounds, with the objective of getting them staffed on NBC’s scripted programs. Moss also manages nationwide outreach efforts and develops relationships with community partners, such as the National Hispanic Media Coalition, Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment and East West Players. Before coming to NBC, Moss was a Development Executive at the Style Network, where she oversaw new series in production, from initial pitch to delivery. Prior to her stint at the Style Network, Moss worked as a producer and director on a plethora of unscripted shows on a variety of networks, including MTV, VH1, TLC and NBC.

She is responsible for leading BlackRock’s Industry and Counterparty Management strategy and TSS Services for Aladdin clients. She regularly works with disability organizations, national, state and local policy leaders, workforce development professionals, media, employers, philanthropists, celebrities and faith-based organizations in order to expand opportunities for people with disabilities. Jennifer Turner

Jennifer Turner smiling headshotA seasoned media executive, Jennifer Turner currently acts as Senior Vice President of Scripted Programming for Sony Pictures Entertainment, covering Sony’s East Coast and Canadian television shows including hit TV dramas “The Good Doctor”, “The Blacklist”, “The Boys”, and social-justice themed shows “For Life” and “Woke”, airing across major platforms such as ABC, NBC, Amazon, and Hulu. Prior to this role, in 2008 Jennifer Turner was named Vice President, Licensing and Strategic Partnerships, Bravo Media, Oxygen Media. She established Bravo and Oxygen’s business development departments and was responsible for extending the networks’ brands into revenue-generating businesses. Jennifer negotiated and managed several brand extensions around Bravo’s Emmy® award winning show “Top Chef”, “The Real Housewives” franchise, and also launched the new brand “Fashion by Bravo”, innovating to combine the television and retail models to sell products. Jennifer also spearheaded the largest multi-platform licensing deal in Bravo’s history, brokering a deal with ConAgra Foods to launch a line of Healthy Choice/Top Chef branded frozen foods at national major retailers. Jim Sinocchi

Jim Sinocchi sitting with a service dog in front of a window with skyscrapers behind him.Jim Sinocchi is the Head of Disability Inclusion at JP Morgan Chase. In this role, Sinocchi works closely with senior leaders across JPMorgan Chase to establish consistent standards and processes to better support employees with disabilities. The office also supports employees who care for disabled family members. A self-advocate, he is keenly aware of the issues and challenges facing people with disabilities as he sustained a spinal cord injury early in his business career. Sinocchi has served on the board of Jawonio, an organization focused on the well-being and equality of people with disabilities and is a member of the Viscardi Center Board of Directors — a special education school in NY for severely disabled students. He also serves on RespectAbility’s Board of Directors.

Jonathan Murray

The BMP team inspires, influences and entertains television audiences worldwide. Since BMP’s 1992 launch of The Real World on MTV, Murray has created and executive produced some of the industry’s most innovative, unscripted, entertainment television programs, including multi-Emmy winning Born This Way (A&E); the first critically acclaimed documentary, Autism: The Musical, to HBO (receiving two Emmy Awards); and the follow up documentary, Autism: The Sequel. Other examples of BMP shows include The Real World (Facebook Watch), Keeping up with the Kardashians, Total Divas (E!), and Project Runway. In 2012, Murray was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame. He also is active on the board of RespectAbility.

Jose Luiz Plaza

Jose Luiz Plaza smiling headshotJose Luis Plaza is a manager at The California Endowment, one of the largest private health foundations, working on various statewide portfolios ranging from immigration, civic engagement, Latinos, and LGBTQ issues among others. Previously, he served as the Bill & Melinda Gates Higher Education Fellow with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) where he furthered his research and practice focusing on macro policy and political issues to ensure quality impact in his home base. He worked in the office of Congressman Raul Ruiz as part of his placement. Following his role at CHCI, Jose served as the national director for Latino engagement for Enroll America. Jose has served on the boards of the Latin American Youth Center, New Leaders Council- DC, and most recently was president and board chair of the Latino LGBT History Project. Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, Jose is the proud son of migrant laborers. Jose earned bachelor’s degrees in social science and English from San Diego State University. He also holds a master’s in counseling from California State University, Long Beach and is pursuing a doctorate in higher education from the University of Southern California.

Ketrina Hazell

Ketrina Hazell headshot smiling wearing a sash that says Ms. Wheelchair New York on itKetrina (“Trina”) Hazell (she, her) is the former Ms. Wheelchair NY 2018. She resides in Brooklyn, NY. Hazell’s platform is to bring self-advocacy into schools and make them more inclusive. A strong self-advocate, motivational speaker, blogger and college student, Hazell graduated from Partners in Policymaking in 2014. Hazell is the founder of her own advocacy group called Voices of Power. She is affiliated with many disability-related organizations. Hazell serves on many disability related councils.

In January 2020 Hazell began working for the Regional Center for Workforce Transformation (RCWT) as the self-advocacy lead for Region 4 in NYC. This RCWT is one of several RCWTs that are regional collaborations between service providers, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), people who receive services and other stakeholders in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. The RCWTs are coordinated by the New York Alliance for Inclusion & Innovation (New York Alliance) through funding provided by New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

Hazell is very involved in her local community. She has volunteered as a tutor with Reading Partners and as an assistant with ADAPT Community Network, which is the leading human service not-for-profit and a pioneer in providing cutting edge programs and services for people with disabilities in New York. Hazell has supported its mission in several capacities. Hazell also has been a guest writer for YAI (Young Adult Institute)’s Self-Advocacy Newsletter. YAI supports more than 20,000 people in the I/DD Community in the NY/NJ area, and offers more than 300 programs for people of all ages.

Hazell’s motto is to make disability visible, empower others to discover their voices, and give hope to families in the disability community through sharing her journey.
