National Leadership Program, Spring 2025

Olivia Hall
Olivia Hall (she/they) is an Entertainment and Media Fellow in Disability Belongs™’ National Leadership Program for Spring 2025. Disability Belongs™ is a national nonprofit organization fighting stigmas and advancing opportunities so that people with disabilities can fully participate in all aspects of community.
Hall adores storytelling across all mediums and believes that showcasing authentic and diverse stories not only broadens understanding and opens minds, but also just fundamentally results in better and more interesting stories. She also deeply cares about nurturing community and thinks that being grounded in and contributing to communities and causes that you care about is essential to both personal and societal well-being.
She has spent the past seven years working in the outdoor and environmental fields, in a range of roles including: facilitating affinity groups, creating social media and blog posts, leading backpacking trips, working on farms, improving and building trails, performing prescribed fire work, and cooking. She also volunteers much of her time, primarily in work related to BIPOC affinity groups, disability, prisons, and food access. Outside of all those interests, she also loves to spend time reading, engaging with media (films, TV shows, music, YouTube videos, podcasts, plays and more!), doing outdoor activities (hiking, rock climbing, biking, paddling, backpacking, doing art and craft work, baking, cooking, and hanging out with her family’s ten cats and three dogs.
