National Leadership Program, Spring 2025

Félix Moreno
Félix Moreno (he/they) is an Operations/Accessibility, Inclusion, and Belonging Fellow in Disability Belongs™’ National Leadership Program for Spring 2025. Disability Belongs™ is a national nonprofit organization fighting stigmas and advancing opportunities so that people with disabilities can fully participate in all aspects of community.
Moreno graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Humboldt State University. Since then, he has dedicated himself to working with underserved communities in a variety of roles: supporting students of color, crisis counseling LGBTQ+ individuals, and assisting veterans with disabilities access VA compensation. Moreno was inspired to delve deeper into the operations and accessibility, inclusion, and belonging (AIB) field after seeing a significant lack of employee wellness support and ongoing workplace AIB training.
Moreno was driven to become involved in disability advocacy because of their lived experience as a late-identified Autistic with ADHD, anxiety, and chronic pain. He believes in the power of education and taking action to create systemic change for marginalized people and finds joy in storytelling, sharing resources, and building community wherever he can. Outside of work, Moreno enjoys watching horror movies, going to concerts, and all things creative: writing, drawing, makeup, and any craft projects they can get their hands on.
