National Leadership Program, Spring 2025

Allison Hampton
Allison Hampton (she/her) is a Faith and Spirituality Fellow in Disability Belongs™’ National Leadership Program for Spring 2025. Disability Belongs™ is a national nonprofit organization fighting stigmas and advancing opportunities so that people with disabilities can fully participate in all aspects of community.
Hampton is passionate about advocacy, equity, and access for those living with various diagnoses because of her personal experience living with multiple chronic illnesses since 2010. She is committed to helping faith communities become safer and more welcoming spaces for those with diagnoses and disabilities. She is motivated by her belief that every person living with a disability or chronic illness deserves to pursue a life full of meaning and purpose.
Hampton is the author of a book entitled Chronic Faith, and is the founder of Living Chronic Faith, Inc., a faith-first nonprofit organization that offers support and community to people living with chronic diagnoses and those who support them. She also serves as the Board Chair of Iron Sharpens Iron WAST, Inc. which exists to empower and equip at-risk youth and justice-involved individuals for successful reintegration into society. Having been awarded the “Faith, Justice and the Arts” grant, she is currently producing the pilot for an original limited series that follows a main character who lives with a nonapparent illness. Hampton holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern University and a Doctor of Ministry degree in pastoral counseling from Liberty University. She enjoys baking, crocheting, reading, music, and playing board games with friends.
