Teresa Jusino is a native New Yorker and a proud Puerto Rican, Jewish, bisexual woman with ADHD. For more than a decade, Jusino has been a pop culture journalist, her work appearing in outlets like Tor.com, Jezebel, Latina Magazine, Teen Vogue, and The Mary Sue, where she was an editor from 2015-18 and is currently a contributing writer.
Jusino has done development work at Topple Productions and is a member of the L.A-based theater company, Force of Nature Productions, through which she has produced, written, and directed several works.
In 2018, Jusino launched Pomonok Entertainment, a production company that produces stories across multiple mediums in service of their unhoused neighbors. Pomonok has produced theater, podcasts, and filmed content.
Jusino was a Finalist for the AMC One-Hour Pilot Competition at Austin Film Festival in 2022 and was a Fellow in the 2021 Disruptors TV Writing Fellowship.
She lives in Los Angeles with her wife. Her other great loves are Star Trek, The Last of Us, any comic by Brian K. Vaughan, and her Level 5 android Paladin named Lal.

After an extensive search and interview process, 5 individuals were invited to participate in an intensive session for disabled drama writers, taking place June 20-28, with additional virtual sessions taking place in partnership with the virtual cohort, May – September 2024. Participants include people with a variety of disabilities ranging in age from the 20s through the 40s. This intensive elevates disabled creatives, focusing on building community, networking, and career advancement. This intensive is in collaboration with ABC Entertainment.
