Rae Greenhoe

Rae Greenhoe (Any/All) (Genderfluid) is an LA based screenwriter, script doctor, puppeteer, and Director of Development for Legacy Pictures.

Originally born in Brooklyn, Greenhoe has been fighting the good fight for disability representation ever since she was old enough to not read. Undeterred, they had three plays produced off off Broadway before they could consistently spell Broadway.

Despite it being made clear to him that someone with no fine motor skills probably should not operate puppets, Greenhoe nevertheless went on to take advanced puppetry classes and (briefly) work for Shadowbox Theater.

She has worked as a script doctor and ghost writer on numerous indie projects for 10 years. When all that uncredited consultation started to get her down, Greenhoe took a role on the creative team of Legacy Pictures and was (through a baffling series of events) made head of the department. She now helps other writers develop their voices but it’s still baffled as to how he missed the mark on getting his own scripts made yet again…  but in all seriousness what they are may be most proud of is the number of individuals corporations and companies that have reached out to them to help make their projects about disability more authentic.

In her extremely limited spare time Greenhoe enjoys watching horror movies, making unsettling puppets, and bedazzling their extensive collection of canes.
